It is an immense pleasure to start a new journal named “Field Crop: An International Journal” through Biopublisher, Sophia Publishing Group, Inc., Canada. Major readers of Field Crop are university students, academicians, and professors of agricultural sciences. This journal focuses to publish original research, review, opinion and short communication of agriculture sciences and the factor affecting it like environment, climate change, agroecosystem etc. Research papers which are bonded with soil, plant and water are welcomed.
We are aware that world population is growing in a multiple way but at the same time our land is shrinking mainly due to urbanization. We have limited land resources, our climate is challenging and our farming pattern already have been changed. Thus, we need a way through which we could tackle our problems and secure humankind with secured food. The most beautiful way to secure food is to do innovative research and disseminating the best findings/technologies among the stakeholders, policy makers, researchers, scientists and farmers. A series of research is carried out by huge number of scientists worldwide and only limited paper is published. All scientists do not get chance to publish either due to language problems or due to heavy article processing charge, so their work get rotten. A researcher has only the option of publish or perish.
Thus, to motivate researchers and enhance their capacity, Field Crop provides equal chance to all agricultural scientists so that they can express their findings through this journal and get motivated to their work. Those scientists whose findings and techniques are innovative would be given top most priority to this journal with free article processing charge. Developing countries researchers will also be given chance to publish their paper freely.
