1 Introduction to Field Crop
This is a big challenge to agricultural scientist to feed the world with limited land and resources. Agricultural different technologies and models have been developed and still research is going on for developing new techniques so that we could feel food security. The research done by different scientists around the world should be published and everyone have right to gain latest research information. Dissemination of new techniques help to boost crop yield and reduce worldwide hunger. Thus there is needed to start a new journal which can address the agricultural scientist publication demands.
In agriculture, almost all research is done in field, and lab based experiments also conducted in the field to test its validity. This journal will publish practical based applied research with new findings, so that both scientists and policy makers can take maximum benefits. Articles based on different aspects will be arranged and published in different sections of this journal.
2 Aims and Scope
The main aim of this journal is to publish original, rigorous scientific research articles of field crops. Field crop research includes innovative research conducted in the field, farm or on the land related to edible agricultural food crops. The research must be experimental based on cropping system, crop physiology, crop genetics and breeding. The research may also include different aspects crop management, agronomy, plant pathology, entomology, soil science, vegetable and horticultural science related phenomena. The articles may be a research, a, review, a case study or an opinion letter. Latest development in field crop research will get maximum priority. This journal publish research articles which are strongly field based or both field and lab based. Only lab based research or hypothetical articles will not be eligible for publication.
