Abstract

This study summarizes the progress of cultivation techniques to optimize cotton yield and quality, including the application of precision agriculture, improved irrigation strategies, and modern agronomic practices adapted to cotton physiological characteristics. The results show that balanced nutrient management, effective pest control methods, and the application of stress resistance and high-yielding varieties can improve cotton yield. Advances in mechanized and sustainable agricultural practices also show great potential for improving productivity while preserving the environment. This study highlights that combining traditional knowledge with innovative technologies is key to addressing the challenges of climate change and resource constraints, with the aim of achieving sustainable production of cotton and meeting the growing global demand for cotton fiber.
